We Care About Your Horse!
All of our materials and decisions are made with the best interest of your horse in mind!
Here is what you can expect from us:
Quality Feed
We contract with a company who grows their own feed. This leads to a high quality 60/40 alfalfa/oat cube that is easy to eat, easy to digest, and packed full of nutrients. The blend also makes it easy for horses to change to from whatever feed they were on when they transition into the barn. Everything from babies to retired horses who are missing teeth do well on our feed! Horses are fed twice a day.
Generous Bedding
We keep the comfort of your horse in mind at all times. Our stalls are matted with rubber and then are generously bedded in shavings. Stalls have automatic waterers. Stalls are cleaned six times a week.
A Variety of Arenas
We have a large jumping arena with lights, a members-only dressage arena with lights, a COVERED ARENA with lights, and another good-sized outdoor arena. Arenas are cared for meticulously. They are usually watered and dragged daily.
Round Pen
We have a round pen available for lunging, riding, or turnouts.
Turnouts
We have several large turnouts that you may utilize to let your horse out while you are on the property.
Shoeing and Wash Racks
We have multiple wash racks, as well as a place for shoers and veterinarians to work safely.
Trail Riding
Only current members of Rancho Viejo are allowed to ride in our large cattle pasture. It is nearly 200 acres of beautiful hill ground. You can also take a lengthy trip past the barns down our road for a quiet cool down.
For those of you who have a Woodside Trail Key, you can also go on through Jasper Ridge into Woodside and beyond.

General Horse Care
If you are a horse owner without a trainer and you want to contract for individual services, that's no problem! We have trustworthy employees that directly offer additional services such as blanketing, turnout, and feeding supplements.
Trailer Parking
If you need a place to park your trailer, there is space to do so for an additional monthly fee.
Training Barns
If you are looking for a trainer, we have on-site training barns in multiple disciplines for all levels. Everything from lesson horses to lease options to horse purchase consulting may be available on an individual basis from each trainer.
Animal Chiropractic
Rancho Viejo is proud to be the home location for Get In-Line Chiropractic and Dr. Kendra Blundell, DC. Dr. Blundell is a licensed human chiropractor who has specialized in Animal Chiropractic, and who is certified through the nationally accredited Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Blundell prioritizes clients at Rancho Viejo, while also taking outside clients on site, and traveling for clients as needed.
