Don't Be Duped!

AVCA logo

The ONLY practitioner that should EVER adjust your horse or dog is an American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) Certified Animal Chiropractor! That includes Dr. Blundell, DC!

Here's a quick rule of thumb. If the person you are considering isn't a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), or a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), they are not even eligible to become a Certified Animal Chiropractor. So make sure and ask for their credentials!

Why Choose an AVCA Certified Animal Chiropractor?

Through the AVCA, only licensed Veterinarians and Chiropractors may become Certified Animal Chiropractors.  Doctors undergo a minimum of over 200 hours of study and must pass multiple, rigorous examinations.  Veterinarians study the art, science and philosophy of chiropractic, while learning the basics of adjusting.  Chiropractors learn animal anatomy, physiology and pathology.  Both are trained in motion palpation, static palpation, gait analysis, biomechanics, and specific adjusting techniques developed for animals.  General knowledge and adjusting techniques are taught and tested in both written and practical exams on both dogs and horses.

TESTIMONIALS FOR GET IN-LINE ANIMAL ADJUSTING

"We currently have three show horses and one ranch horse, and Kendra adjusts them all. I’ll have to admit that I was pretty skeptical when our trainer suggested that we have our horses adjusted, but after the first session I could tell that this was something that the horses need. Prior to the adjustment, one of my horses would ‘fire’ off on one side and was obviously uncomfortable – I attributed this to the horse being 16 years old, having the wrong shoes and, of course, you can always blame the rider, even if it is your daughter.

After that first session we had a completely different horse on our hands. Its temperament was much improved, we had far more horse with far less effort, and what would sometimes require work in the ring now came easily.

I cannot stress enough how these adjustments have helped all of our horses, and I would suggest that you give Kendra a call and let her explain how and why this is important for your horse. For my part, Kendra has a client for life and I have her doing adjustments on all of my horses a few times a month."

"My boy Whiskey had fallen so hard while I was on vacation that riding him was like riding a bicycle. Kendra came out and adjusted him. I rode him, he was perfectly smooth, and loved to gallop again. I took him on a 3.5 hour trail ride, he was the horse out in front, not getting tired, not getting sore, and his back wasn't even tense.

The other thing that Kendra did for me is she showed me how to get flexibility in his pole and also how to actually trigger the lifting of the back. Many chiropractors and veterinarians had told me to lift his back, but nobody could make him do it. After Kendra worked on him, his back lifts, he's wonderful to ride, and he's a happy character."

"My horse is 25 years old, very healthy, and he had trouble walking on his left side. I tried a few things and they didn't work. Kendra worked on him for about 20 minutes, and I was really concerned about it because he had been limping. My horse took off when I started to circle him, and this is now day 2 and he has absolutely no limp. I don't normally do this, but I highly, highly recommend this lady. She is absolutely magnificent with animals and my horse is real happy now."
